This has been one of the most amazing experiences of my life so far. Just finishing up our week of service I already cannot wait to get back! The children are the most gracious, loving individuals—nothing like how I would generalize American children. They share what little they have with anyone and everyone and love each other like fa
mily. There were a few times that I saw a younger 5 or 6 year old holding a younger toddler and when I asked if that was their younger brother or sister they would shrug and say no, just a friend, which is something I’m definitely not use to seeing. It’s overall been a great experience being able to spend time with these people and seeing how much us just being there puts an enormous smile on each of their faces!Also, today we went to the vineyards, which was absolutely amazing. It was the first full day of beautiful weather so the already amazing views were absolutely gorgeous! I had never been to a wine tasting let alone a vineyard before so it was so cool seeing how they do everything and how they harvest the flavors separately to combine them into one delicious bottle!
