"I love Food!" By: Thomas Brown

When I came to Cape Town, I recognized the emphasis on the importance of a meal. Food is very important to the culture. Meals are suppose to be a time of sharing communication and enjoying yourselves. Waiters do not rush your meal and often allow you to drink awhile before your meal is brought out. SInce I have been here I have had some incredible different foods, especially steak. Zorbas has an enormous T-bone steak that is 500 oz. It is presented by itself, but it is plenty for a meal. However, Balthazar takes the cake with the best steaks in Cape Town so far. The filet ranks in the top 5 best steaks I've had in my life. Im very thankful that Katie convinced me to change my order. I also had phenomenal oysters and highly recommend them if you enjoy shellfish. I cant wait to enjoy more meals in Capetown. I have enjoyed everything from pasta to burgers. At the moment, I am on the lookout for sushi and I am sure that my expectations will be surpassed.
