"Most Interesting" By: Blake Porche

Coming to South Africa, I didn't know much history or information about the country, and pretty much nothing about the people from here. After an overly exciting adventure week, I had experienced thrills I never have and some of the best hostiles/bars in the world. The first week back to the Lagoon has been informing in lectures, but the most interesting day has been the trip to Robben Island. Getting toured by Nelson Mandela's cellmate was a great experience, and I feel as though we got an inside peak which most people don't get to experience. From learning the entire history of the apartheid and also seeing how a leader in politics at the time viewed it all was the most I've learned since I've been here (no offense teachers).
